金杜艺术中心十分荣幸地宣布将于2020年4月27日开始呈现与伦敦白教堂美术馆第六次合作的国际电影项目。由于新冠肺炎疫情期间所采取的限制措施，放映将在金杜艺术中心线上及相关社交媒体平台上进行，一直持续至限制取消。在2020年度，金杜艺术中心将作为“国际艺术家电影”项目的参与机构之一，放映一系列以“语言”为主题的影像作品。“国际艺术家电影”关注国际重要影像作品，作品包括金杜艺术中心在内的国际艺术机构作为全球合作伙伴共同推荐。每个机构提名推荐所在地区优秀作品，在这一年中这些作品将会在全球所有合作艺术机构中展映。

此季度放映的作品是由金杜艺术中心选送的中国艺术家余果2019年的作品《结界》。“结界”是一个佛教用语，用于表述由一群人的集体意识创建的保护“区域”。余果以此概念为视角，探究我们如何在高度传达的城市环境中进行沟通。对身处当今城市生活中的余果来说，观看功能的每一个视觉动作都像屏幕一样，不断产生新的叙事以供关注。观看地铁窗口与观看手机屏幕相同；两者都包含嵌入其中的一种中介语言。 “结界”是身体和媒体传达的双向呈现屏幕。这部电影旨在讨论“结界”在此新环境中的角色，以及是否需要一种新的语言来描述这种情况。

Due to continuing Covid 19 restrictions the screenings will be shown on KWM’s online and social media platforms until further notice. Throughout 2020, KWM artcenter will be screening a series of moving image works as part of the Artists’ Film International (AFI) project, this year, based on the theme of language. AFl celebrates moving image work and is selected by a global partnership of arts organisations including KWM artcenter. Each nominates an outstanding work from their region which is screened across each venue during the year.
余果，《结界》，2019，影像静帧，图片来自艺术家Yu Guo, enchantment (Jiéjiè), 2019,Video stillThis season we start with KWM’s selection for AFI, Chinese artist Yu Guo’s work ‘Jiéjiè’ from 2019. ‘Jiéjiè’ is a Buddhist word describing the protective ‘zone’ created through a collective consciousness among a group of people. Yu Guo takes this notion as a perspective through which to look at how we communicate within heavily mediated urban environments. For Yu Guo in today’s urban life, every single visual action of viewing functions like a screen constantly producing new narratives to follow or not. Watching a subway window is the same as watching one’s phone screen; both containing a kind of mediated language embedded inside. “jiéjiè ” is the screen where the two-way rendering of body and media communicate. The film aims to discuss how “jiéjiè’ works in this new environment and whether a new language is needed to describe this situation.
